Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications in a fast-paced environment
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Design and implement high-performance software solutions
• Optimize code for efficiency and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark
• Experience writing SQL queries and scripting
• Experience creating ETL flows and data orchestration
• Experience working with CSV, Excel, and Parquet files
• Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, OracleDB, or MSSQL
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Exposure to DevOps practices and AWS cloud services
• Experience managing Apache Airflow
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Working experience with Databricks and Spark Server
• Working experience with PowerBI or Tableau
