Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Build and optimize data architectures for analytics and reporting
• Work closely with data analysts, business teams, and developers to understand data requirements
• Develop and maintain data integration workflows using modern tools and frameworks
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines
• Optimize database performance and query execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile development environments
• Implement best practices for data engineering, governance, and documentation

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering
• Strong experience in SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline development
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow
• Familiarity with REST APIs and data integration techniques
• Understanding of CI/CD and version control tools like Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
