Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement methods for the automation and optimization of data and products for upper management.
• Perform statistical analysis including regression, anomaly detection, and clustering.
• Combine diverse data sources such as Open Source, PAI, CAI, and intelligence records to produce technical data packages.
• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, including writing production-quality code and managing version-controlled repositories.
• Elicit and define system requirements, track progress against milestones, and evaluate test results to validate performance.
• Communicate technical findings and data science activities to both technical and non-technical customers.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• 5+ years of progressive, relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated ability in software development, version control, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis methods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Python, Excel, and AWS for data processing and visualization.
• Advanced statistical knowledge including Bayesian Statistics, multivariate analysis, or machine learning.
• Knowledge of National Intelligence Agencies and Department of Defense elements.
• Familiarity with the space domain, including orbital mechanics and satellite systems.
• Experience with Agile processes and analytical tool development.
• Master's degree in an engineering or science-related field.
