Data Engineer Jr

Responsibilities

• Develop and support data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using Python and dbt for data transformation.
• Apply scheduled workflows in Apache Airflow and assist in application deployment using Docker.
• Establish data ingestion processes into the Snowflake platform.
• Interact with Kafka message queues and various AWS services under the guidance of the senior team.
• Contribute to the construction, maintenance, and monitoring of automated data flows to enable business analytics and decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in data management, software development, or similar roles.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT processes and managing relational databases.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud ecosystems.
• Proficiency with Python, Apache Airflow, Snowflake, AWS services, Kafka, dbt, and Docker.
• Intermediate English skills (technical reading and comprehension).
• Must reside in Mexico City or Monterrey, Nuevo León.
