Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture using Python, SQL, AWS, and Snowflake
• Identify and implement internal process improvements through automation and infrastructure redesign
• Build infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various data sources
• Develop analytics tools to provide actionable insights into business performance metrics
• Collaborate with Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to support data infrastructure needs
• Ensure data security and separation across national boundaries and AWS regions

Requirements

• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data
• Strong analytic skills with unstructured datasets
• Experience building processes for data transformation, metadata, and workload management
• Proven history of extracting value from large, disconnected datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Python scripting and data-specific role
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with data processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
• Knowledge of web scraping, web crawling, and APIs
• Familiarity with Snowflake and SQL server job activity monitoring
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL and Cassandra
• Proficiency with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Google Cloud
