Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex data processing systems and pipelines
• Maintain and upgrade existing DPL projects and troubleshoot technical data issues across EMEA
• Mentor junior team members and identify optimization opportunities
• Own security for PII data, code management, and deployment
• Create and improve client dashboards; proactively identify dashboard improvement opportunities
• Conduct quality checks and maintain clear technical documentation
• Translate client business requirements into KPIs, digital goals, and technical deliverables
• Independently own small-scale projects and deliver to success criteria and deadlines
• Develop training materials for clients and internal teams
• Support new business with marketing materials such as case studies and blog posts

Requirements

• Advanced SQL and Python
• GCP Professional Data Engineer certification
• Advanced experience with GCP essential; AWS and Azure advantageous
• Proven experience with ETL processes and end-to-end data pipelines
• Experience creating dashboards and troubleshooting complex data issues
• Strong QA process experience to validate data accuracy and precision
• Ability to translate client business objectives into technical solutions
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
