Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for developing innovative data capabilities and maintaining robust ETL infrastructure
• Prepare for AI technology integration by leveraging data for machine learning and automation
• Redesign infrastructure to enhance scalability, cost efficiency, and automation
• Monitor and enhance production pipelines to ensure data availability and accuracy
• Define and optimize data modeling strategies within the data lake
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical challenges and support data-informed decision making
• Lead documentation for orchestration, coding standards, and CI/CD pipelines
• Manage data solution code repositories and migration processes

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in designing and managing large-scale data solutions
• Expert proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts
• In-depth knowledge of Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, Azure Synapse, and dbt
• Strong skills in documenting data pipelines and processes
• Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
• High proficiency in English (written and verbal)
