Data Engineer II/III

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of ELT snowflake data warehouse solutions
• Collaborate with internal and external technology and business partners to implement product changes
• Produce detail design and unit test documents
• Architect and implement Data solutions based on business requirements
• Define, develop and maintain standards and processes for effective ETL solutions
• Mentor junior offshore developers
• Build and continuously improve data engineering best practices

Requirements

• Data engineering experience using ETL/ELT technologies
• Proficiency with Snowflake, IICS, Informatica, StreamSets, DBT, Python, Databricks, or ADF
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI
• Hands on experience working in an Azure environment
• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, or data hub modeling
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and Git version control
• Experience working in SOX and SOC-2 compliant environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry
• Experience with external data feed enrichment
• Hands on experience with data standardization and transformation processes
• Solid understanding of MDM and reference data
