Data Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion and transformation using Fivetran and AWS S3
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and Python scripts to support ETL/ELT workflows
• Manage data workflows within Databricks to ensure performance, reliability, and data quality
• Build and maintain Databricks dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with analysts and business teams to translate reporting needs into scalable data solutions
• Document data processes, pipeline logic, and architectural decisions
• Participate in Agile development cycles and sprint planning

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and performance optimization
• Hands-on Python experience for data transformation, automation, and pipeline development
• Experience with Databricks or equivalent distributed data processing platforms
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development using GitHub
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating or extracting data from CRM platforms like Salesforce
• Experience with API-based data ingestion from third-party sources
• Exposure to AI/ML tooling, cloud AI services, or LLM-powered data pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
