Data Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to provide technical consulting and configure the elluminate platform
• Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient SQL code for SDTM, custom reports, and visualizations
• Guide and support a team of data engineers on technical service delivery activities
• Manage multiple timelines and deliverables for various clients
• Provide proactive technical support for client-reported tickets
• Facilitate client onboarding workshops and conduct end-user training sessions
• Create and maintain specifications and quality control documents according to SOPs

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL programming
• Experience with database/warehouse architecture, design, and development
• Knowledge of data platforms such as SQL Server, DB2, or Teradata
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinical trial data standards (CDISC ODM, SDTM, or ADAM)
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Life Science industry
• Understanding of Cloud/Hybrid data architecture concepts
• Familiarity with data reporting tools like Qlik, Tableau, or Spotfire
• Experience with ETL, Data Pipelines, and Data Modeling
• Knowledge of Python, R, or Java
