Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through all stages of design and development for complex, secure, and performant data solutions and models.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data for use in machine learning models.
• Review and evaluate designs for compliance with architecture, security, and quality standards.
• Drive innovation by integrating new technologies into the big data space.
• Ensure high levels of data integrity through continuous monitoring and validation.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced staff and business analytics users.
• Perform root-cause analysis and execute corrective actions for data-related system issues.

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of professional work experience in data engineering, data analytics, or data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Extensive experience with Big Data technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in programming languages such as SQL or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Hadoop, Kafka, or Spark.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ETL processes.
