Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and establish secure, performant data architectures and data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Manage data collection procedures to ensure accurate and relevant data for machine learning models
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and root-cause analysis to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Lead project teams to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality data solutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally to assess, define, and develop report deliverables
• Identify data inaccuracies and develop automated solutions to enhance enterprise data quality
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 4-7 years of professional work experience in data engineering, data analytics, or data modeling
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages
• Experience with Big Data technologies and data warehousing

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in programming languages such as SQL or Python
• Experience implementing AI solutions to solve complex data quality problems
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Apache Hadoop, Kafka, or Spark
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ETL processes
