Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and launch end-to-end cloud-based data solutions and advanced architectures
• Develop software using object-oriented languages and frameworks such as Python and PySpark
• Implement relational and dimensional modeling, including big data technologies
• Manage the full SDLC process, including testing and deployment
• Enable analytics using cloud technology and MLOps
• Collaborate with a global team of consulting professionals across multiple projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4-8 years of technology experience in system integration, application development, or data warehouse projects
• Mandatory expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, and HD Insights
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and various flavors of SQL
• Strong understanding of the SDLC process
• Ability to contribute to deep architecture discussions regarding cloud-based systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Infrastructure and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of ML Service and MLOps workflows
• Proven track record of continuous learning and developing new technical skills
