Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient big data processing pipelines within distributed computing environments
• Design and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business unit needs
• Execute data ingestion, processing, and transformation workflows for analytical and machine learning applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design suitable data solutions
• Apply expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, data governance, and ETL processes
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to integrate best practices into data engineering methodologies

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a data analyst or data engineer
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Competence in using Azure Databricks
• Solid understanding of Azure Data Factory and other Azure data engineering tools
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience in utilizing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and developing generative AI solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI and other Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Knowledge of multi-cloud environments
• Strong capabilities in data storytelling and technical documentation
