Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assemble large, complex datasets to meet business requirements
• Prepare datasets from various sources upon request
• Manage data warehousing processes
• Implement and support data model changes
• Develop new integrations and data marts
• Set up, maintain, and monitor data quality checks
• Recommend improvements for data reliability, efficiency, and quality
• Document entities and lineage in the data catalog

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering
• Deep knowledge of primary DWH design methodologies
• Experience with column and MPP databases (Vertica, ClickHouse, etc.)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect
• Solid Python skills and understanding of OOP
• Familiarity with transformation tools such as dbt or sqlmesh
• Advanced English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant technical certifications
• Experience with Big Data Processing and Data Lakes
