Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analyses of existing databases and systems to identify data structures and quality issues
• Develop robust migration designs in collaboration with architects and engineers
• Design and create conversion and mapping rules for target system requirements
• Perform quality checks to ensure migrated data is accurate, complete, and usable
• Monitor data consistency and integrity throughout the migration process to prevent loss or corruption
• Act as a link between business analysts and data migration engineers

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience in data analysis, data design, data conversions, or ETL tooling
• Proven experience with quality control processes and migration solutions
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management
• Proficiency in data modeling and relational algebra
• Strong affinity with data structures and data mapping
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
