Data Engineer domaine Water

Responsibilities

• Manage the data infrastructure serving BI projects for the water sector, ensuring high service and security levels.
• Implement, maintain, and evolve the existing Data Platform, including integrating new data flows.
• Ensure the integrity, performance, and freshness of data batches and platform components.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Scientists to optimize data usage and exposure.
• Manage data access rights and interact with data consumers to rationalize platform performance.
• Propose technical improvements such as indexing, datamarts, and KPI pre-calculations.
• Act as the technical referent for the Data foundation and provide Level 3 support.
• Work closely with the Data Governance department and Data Managers to align data models with business strategies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Systems, Big Data, or an equivalent field.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL databases (SQL Server, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, AzureDevOps, Git).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
• Solid understanding of data governance fundamentals and data management.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
• Technical expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and reporting.
• Ability to lead transverse coordination and facilitate follow-up meetings.
• An agile, innovative, and collaborative mindset.
