Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain fully automated data transformation pipelines using software engineering principles.
• Understand business use cases and stakeholder requirements to support strategic objectives.
• Leverage data science and software engineering techniques for data ingestion, preparation, and analytics processing.
• Identify, acquire, cleanse, and store data while developing products aligned with defined architecture patterns.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources to enable advanced analytics and machine learning models.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers to scale and deploy solutions, including documentation and integration.
• Contribute to the inner source development of foundational tools and technical services.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ETL), Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Kimball Data Warehousing methodology.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipeline deployment, and GIT/ADO.
• Strong analytical, consulting, and critical thinking skills.
