About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and industrialize robust Batch and Real-Time data pipelines
- Optimize distributed computing jobs using Spark (Scala/Python)
- Implement and configure real-time distributed messaging architectures with Kafka
- Manage and evolve Hadoop ecosystem storage clusters (HDFS, Hive, HBase)
- Monitor data flows and optimize processing times and infrastructure costs (DataOps)
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering within high-volume Big Data production environments
- Mastery of the Hadoop framework and its components
- Technical expertise in Apache Spark and Apache Kafka
- Strong proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java
- Excellent mastery of SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale digital transformation projects
- Ability to work in agile and innovative technological environments
