Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain workspaces, data pipelines, and objects within a Data Lakehouse using medallion architecture.
• Build data ingestion solutions from diverse sources including RDBMS, Change Data Capture (CDC), and streaming endpoints.
• Create and maintain data models to support reporting, analytics, and AI/ML models.
• Design and deploy scalable AI-driven infrastructure, including agent orchestration layers and evaluative frameworks.
• Collaborate with UX designers to create custom visualizations and interactive dashboards.
• Ensure data consistency, quality, and end-to-end governance from ingestion to consumption.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
• Expertise in Data Lakehouse concepts and Delta Lake.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Strong solution design and architecture skills with an understanding of data domains and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with MS PowerBI for data visualization.
• Experience building solutions within highly regulated financial environments.
