Data Engineer Associate

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor Oracle and MS SQL databases across the Bosch semiconductor network
• Install, configure, and maintain database performance, consistency, and availability
• Design and build scalable data architecture, including automated data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Manage relational and NoSQL data storage technologies ensuring integrity and security
• Implement infrastructure as code using DevOps methodologies and container orchestration tools like Docker
• Develop automation for data workflows, system monitoring, and operational tasks
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy and maintain AI/ML models in production (MLOps)
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data systems and architecture

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor in Computer Science or an equivalent field
• 1-3 years of professional experience in Oracle/MS SQL or Hadoop administration
• Experience with Oracle products including Grid/Cloud Control, RAC, and ASM
• Experience with RedHat Linux, Veritas Cluster, Volume Manager, and SAN storage
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Ability to participate in 24x7 on-call support
• Strong technical documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
