Data Engineer and Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure for a global Engineering organization
• Collaborate with data and process owners to optimize data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Create endpoints for data exchange between systems and enhance reporting services
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Power BI visualizations
• Ensure the usability, accessibility, and aesthetic quality of dashboards and reports
• Implement data governance practices, including access controls, role-level security, and lineage documentation
• Optimize data solutions for performance and scalability
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for reports, data sources, and transformation processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with high proficiency in DAX and Power Query
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for data visualization
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira
• Experience with Engineering processes and systems, including SAP or Teamcenter
