Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Data projects by providing technical expertise on the Data Platform
• Break information silos and provide data via API
• Accelerate analytical processing
• Develop expertise in BigL ETL and participate in business projects via offline ELT solutions (BigLoader, BDI/DBT)
• Handle correction requests, including incidents and anomalies
• Participate in team auto-training and skill development
• Apply development best practices and standards
• Contribute to automated delivery using CI/CD, GitLab, and Docker
• Develop and document code within a Scrum team

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering or equivalent university specialization in computer science
• 3 to 7 years of experience with DBT, SQL, and BigQuery
• Significant experience in advanced SQL and BigQuery
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Pub/Sub, Git, and Linux
• Technical skills in Docker Compose and GitLab CI/CD
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French
