Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build Python APIs and backend services for internal and third-party integrations
• Develop and operate end-to-end data pipelines using GCP services
• Build high-frequency, event-driven systems for real-time and asynchronous data processing
• Apply data modeling and database design principles for structured and semi-structured data
• Write clean, testable, production-grade code with CI/CD discipline
• Drive observability, performance, and reliability across backend and data systems
• Own services end-to-end from schema design to deployment and monitoring
• Use modern cloud and automation practices including Terraform and containers

Requirements

• Strong experience in backend or data engineering
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Experience with data warehouse design (BigQuery or Snowflake)
• Solid engineering discipline including CI/CD, testing, and microservices
• Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster and observability practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API integrations (CRM, attribution, or marketing systems)
• Exposure to containerization using Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of data testing frameworks or event-driven architectures
