Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate data pipelines for large datasets
• Responsible for data collection, validation, transformation, and storage
• Ensure data quality and traceability throughout the flow
• Implement and productionize AI models for image analysis
• Work with pre-processing and post-processing of image data
• Manage batch runs and dependencies in AI pipelines
• Develop solutions in Linux-based server and cluster environments
• Ensure solutions are scalable, robust, and reliable
• Work with containerization and distributed execution

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Data Engineer in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of Python (structured code, testing, coding standards)
• Experience with Linux environments (server/cluster)
• Good knowledge of SQL and databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server)
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for large datasets
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
• Experience with distributed data processing (e.g., Spark or Flink)
• Basic understanding of AI/ML workflows, especially related to image data
• Professional communication skills in Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computer vision and image-based AI solutions
• MLOps (e.g., MLflow, experiment and model management)
• CI/CD for data and ML pipelines
• Performance optimization of AI and data pipelines
