Data Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data structures and pipelines to collect, standardize, and transform data for reporting and insight generation
• Ensure data quality throughout ingestion, processing, and loading to target tables
• Create ingestion frameworks for various data types and establish methods for data consumption via views, extracts, and APIs
• Maintain data warehouses and lakes using Snowflake and Databricks platforms
• Design and monitor ETL processes to support efficient data flow and collaborate with analytics teams for model deployments
• Collaborate with technology partners to optimize data sourcing and processing rules
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to data governance and compliance efforts

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one major programming language: Python, Golang, or Java
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data structures and building data pipelines
• Knowledge of ETL processes and SQL
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to the modern data stack, including dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
