Data Collector

Responsibilities

• Utilize various data sources to obtain contact information for sampled persons and conduct investigations to locate them
• Engage in outreach efforts to recruit sampled persons for project participation
• Conduct interviews using standard MMP questionnaires
• Perform medical record abstraction for interviewed persons
• Make appropriate referrals for HIV care, partner services, and ancillary services like housing
• Record all activities in project databases in a timely manner
• Perform and follow-up on data and project quality assurance activities

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree with 12 semester credits in health education, health, social, or biological sciences; OR
• Baccalaureate degree plus six months of full-time experience in health promotion or disease intervention/prevention
• High school diploma plus four years of full-time experience in health promotion or disease intervention/prevention
• Ability to work specific hours: Tuesday-Thursday (12pm-8pm) and Friday-Saturday (9am-5pm)
