Data Cleansing Program Director

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the Government-Wide data cleansing strategy aligned with data quality standards and government priorities
• Establish a structured framework to prioritize critical datasets and enable phased execution across entities
• Standardize, automate, and scale the end-to-end data cleansing lifecycle using advanced tools and AI-driven solutions
• Oversee a multi-vendor delivery model for data cleansing, ensuring coordinated execution and performance management
• Oversee the development of enterprise data models ensuring alignment with government standards and interoperability requirements
• Ensure the creation, standardization, and publication of cleansed datasets into the Government Wide data catalog
• Oversee development of data quality dashboards to track KPIs and cleansing progress
• Establish and lead program governance bodies to ensure timely delivery and stakeholder alignment
• Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on program progress, risks, and impact on data maturity

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 20+ years of experience in data management, data quality, or large-scale transformation programs
• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide or national data cleansing/data quality initiatives
• Expertise in data quality frameworks, profiling, and remediation techniques
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Informatica, Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake
• Experience managing large vendor ecosystems and complex, multi-stakeholder programs
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills at senior government or enterprise level
