Data Center Technician

Responsibilities

• Support the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and cabling.
• Utilize diagnostic methods to troubleshoot data center equipment effectively.
• Manage and pull inventory accurately in accordance with documented processes.
• Perform server repair techniques, including replacing hard drives, RAM, and motherboards.
• Assist with physical tasks such as moving and racking equipment for special projects.
• Contribute to the timely resolution of tasks through the ticket management process.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Real ID or other federally accepted identification for U.S. travel.
• Minimum 1 year of general work experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and repair.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in environments that may reach 90+ degrees Fahrenheit.
• Reliable transportation for travel between onsite buildings.
• Strong professional communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of specific computer hardware repair experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or currently pursuing one.
