Data Center Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare, install, troubleshoot, and decommission equipment within the cloud infrastructure environment
• Perform diagnostics and replace hardware components under the guidance of experienced technicians
• Complete assigned tickets efficiently in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Participate in daily safety briefings and comply with all safety procedures regarding equipment use and electrical hazards
• Adhere to strict security and data management procedures and policies
• Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing information and participating in regular team meetings

Requirements

• High School/Secondary School diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational qualification
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology
• Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+) or Basic Structure Cabling (BSC)
