Data Center Technician L2

Responsibilities

• Support the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and cabling
• Use Linux command-line tools and client-specific systems for diagnostics and management
• Provide first-level triage and support for debugging IT hardware issues
• Manage the server repair queue, execute hardware repairs, and supervise custom builds or reworks
• Coordinate with partner teams and support on-site vendor visits

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Linux system and network administration
• Strong knowledge of PC and server hardware
• Proficiency with the Linux command line and common UNIX tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to balance technical and interpersonal tasks
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment weighing 50+ pounds
• Self-motivated mindset with high attention to detail
