About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize critical data center systems including power distribution, UPS, cooling, and fire suppression
- Perform basic miner repairs, maintenance, and firmware flashing
- Support preventative maintenance schedules through regular inspections and cleaning
- Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure and miner issues to minimize downtime
- Contribute to performance reports regarding uptime, power usage, and environmental conditions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3+ years of experience in IT, hardware, electrical engineering, or network administration
- Proficiency in troubleshooting power, cooling, and network systems
- Physical stamina to stand for 7+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in harsh indoor and outdoor environmental conditions
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a motor vehicle check
- Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Bitcoin mining experience
- Knowledge of data center best practices and standards
- Understanding of IP addressing, subnets, and low-voltage electrical systems
