Data Center Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform and facilitate maintenance services for data center infrastructure, including cooling, power, security, and building management systems
• Lead a Data Center Services team and collaborate with architecture teams on technical engineering, capacity planning, and infrastructure projects
• Ensure all services are performed in accordance with company policies and safety requirements
• Follow recognized methodologies such as ITIL, PMP, or LEAN/Six Sigma for service and project management
• Schedule necessary maintenance to maintain facility infrastructure and implement 5S organization standards
• Coordinate on-site personnel to ensure all required services for data center operations are provided efficiently

Requirements

• High School diploma with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR an Associate's/Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
• Hands-on experience working in a Data Center environment
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Knowledge of ITIL, PMP, or LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Certification from the International Association of Information Technology Asset Manager
