Data Center Technical Trainer

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programs for data center staff covering hardware, networking, cooling, and power management
• Create training materials including presentations, job aids, and reference guides
• Conduct hands-on sessions and simulations for troubleshooting and maintenance
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements
• Conduct one-on-one coaching and ad hoc training sessions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data center technologies and best practices
• Liaise with operational and support teams to identify training needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data center technician role
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling
• Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for helping others learn and develop skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience training or coaching colleagues in a data center environment
• Previous in-person or virtual presentation or public speaking experience
