Data Center Site and Facility Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7/365 operation of all critical infrastructure including electrical distribution, mechanical and liquid cooling, and fire/life safety
• Own site safety in partnership with HSE, including hazardous energy control and LOTO discipline
• Build and lead the full site team, including facility, hardware, and network operators
• Manage hardware and network repair operations, including ticket queues, triage, and RMA workflows
• Run incident and change management, leading severity response and delivering root cause analyses
• Partner with construction, commissioning, and utilities to drive operational readiness and clean handovers

Requirements

• Experience running 24/7 critical facility operations with contractual availability requirements
• Deep technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical infrastructure (switchgear, CDU, etc.)
• Experience managing high-volume repair or break-fix operations for server fleets or network fabrics
• Proven track record of building and developing technical teams
• Experience operating procedure-based safety programs (LOTO, electrical safety)
• Ability to partner with construction and commissioning teams during live builds
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Hyperscale or Tier III/IV facility experience
• Trade certification or journeyman license (electrical, HVAC, controls)
• Experience with new-facility commissioning and operational readiness programs
• Proficiency with CMMS/EAM systems
• Background in GPU cluster or high-performance network operations
