Data Center Site Acquisition Manager - Infrastructure Power & Energy

Responsibilities

• Lead utility and power due diligence for existing and future data center portfolios to support site acquisition and operations.
• Manage data center energy supply and identify markets with power availability that meet short-term and long-term demands.
• Support the lifecycle power management process, including power reservation applications, interconnection permitting, energization, and reliability monitoring.
• Conduct energy cost analysis and drive initiatives to optimize budget structures across greenfield, brownfield, and power shell models.
• Partner with Strategy, Engineering, Operations, Capacity Planning, and Global Supply Chain teams to manage complex projects in the Americas and EMEA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Policy, Law, Economics, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in real estate or tech infrastructure development, evaluation, and acquisition with a focus on power and utility.
• 3+ years of experience managing utility agreements and energy-oriented projects.
• Proven experience in the Americas or EMEA energy markets.
• Strong knowledge of grid reliability, interconnection, and large electric load management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Working knowledge of data centers or large power infrastructure, including technical and commercial solutions.
• Experience in power shell, greenfield, or brownfield development of data centers or similar large-scale electrical load projects.
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad as needed.
