About the role
Responsibilities
- Support investigations into data center quality incidents, including containment, data collection, and root cause analysis.
- Document and track corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of product and process quality tools such as CTQs, control plans, and risk assessments.
- Participate in process capability studies, measurement system analysis (MSA), and data-driven evaluations of manufacturing processes.
- Provide early quality support during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases to ensure design-for-quality and manufacturability.
- Analyze quality performance data (e.g., PPM, complaints, audit findings) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or related engineering roles.
- Working knowledge of quality systems, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate findings clearly.
- Conversational English is a must.
- Ability to travel up to 30–50% globally to support Data Center locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data center, high-reliability, or high-speed connectivity products.
- Exposure to Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Green Belt training).
- Familiarity with ISO9001, TL9000, or other quality management standards.
- Experience with digital QMS tools or analytics platforms such as SAP, ETQ, SharePoint, or Power BI.
