Data Center Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage critical infrastructure improvement projects within operational data center spaces to optimize space, power, and cooling.
• Provide technical oversight and review for all disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural systems.
• Lead the direction, coordination, implementation, and execution of specific projects to ensure consistency with company strategy and goals.
• Identify areas for improvement and act on data provided by cross-functional teams and organizations.
• Design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address complex operational challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations, including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings across multiple domains.
