Data Center Production Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, deploy, and configure server and network hardware
• Maintain accurate asset records during part replacement
• Work rotating shifts or on-call to meet 24/7 SLAs
• Prioritize and resolve tickets to maintain system reliability
• Assist in network troubleshooting through cabling diagnosis and replacement
• Act as the first on-site responder for infrastructure incidents
• Support initiatives and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and vendors

Requirements

• Experience deploying and supporting server and network hardware in a live data center at scale
• Deep troubleshooting skills for server hardware (POST, BIOS, PXE, IPMI, BMC)
• Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and hardware (switches, routers, copper, fiber)
• Fluency in Linux environments
• Ability to work on-call and rotating shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hyperscale or high-density AI infrastructure
• Experience managing GPU server fleets
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash
• Knowledge of structured cabling
