Data Center Presales / Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather requirements, run discovery sessions, and assess existing IT and DC environments in the UAE.
• Design end-to-end data center solutions covering compute, storage, networking, virtualization, backup and DR, including passive infrastructure (cabling, racks, power, cooling).
• Produce high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), BOMs/BOQs, technical proposals and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Lead technical demonstrations, POCs and workshops; deliver presentations to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, professional services, support teams and vendor partners to align solutions and ensure smooth handover.
• Provide technical thought leadership, internal training, and maintain awareness of vendor roadmaps and certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as HPE ASE, Dell DCA, Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP
• Nutanix NCP/NSE, Veeam VMSP/VMCE, Commvault certifications
• Storage credentials (NetApp NCDA/NCIE, Dell EMC Proven Professional)
• Data center accreditation (CDCP) and BICSI or Panduit/CommScope cabling experience
• Cloud foundations (Azure, AWS) and experience integrating backup/DR across hybrid cloud
• ITIL4 Foundation or similar service management knowledge
