Software Engineer, General Interest

Responsibilities

• Own mission software and services deployed to customers in Abu Dhabi and the region.
• Design, implement, and scale software across robotics, autonomy, networking, and application stacks.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex features and integrations with Lattice OS.
• Create and analyze metrics for debugging and operational monitoring.
• Triage issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate remediation.
• Partner with end users to translate operational needs into product features while balancing UX and engineering constraints.
• Travel up to 25% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent).
• Professional experience with C++, Rust, Go, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and analysis.
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for field deployments.
• Eligibility to obtain a UAE security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Physics, Mathematics, or Motion Planning to support modeling & simulation and physical systems.
• Experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world deployments.
• Algorithm and feature development with knowledge of behavior trees.
• Experience building software/hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality.
• Familiarity with distributed communication networks and message standards.
