Data Center Operations Technician (Electrical)

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical electrical systems including UPS, switchgear, transformers, and backup generators
• Monitor facility systems using BMS/EPMS platforms
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and alarms
• Follow Finnish electrical safety regulations and LOTO procedures
• Participate in 24/7 shift operations, including nights and weekends

Requirements

• Vocational qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or Power Systems
• Experience working with electrical infrastructure or industrial systems
• Knowledge of power distribution systems and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
• Good English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center or mission-critical facility experience
• SFS 6002 Electrical Safety certification
• Experience with medium-voltage systems
• Knowledge of HVAC/cooling infrastructure
• Experience using CMMS, BMS, or EPMS systems
• Finnish language skills
