Data Center Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of system reliability by resolving trouble tickets related to systems and network hardware
• Perform Linux server and XEN service virtualization troubleshooting
• Remediate physical layer outages on both systems and network infrastructure
• Install and configure racks in accordance with internal SLAs
• Execute physical replacement of server and network devices
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations and shift work to support data center power and cooling events
• Enforce security best practices and interact with third-party vendors and contractors
• Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and participate in global infrastructure projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT infrastructure experience
• Basic understanding of data center facilities
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix administration
• Hands-on experience with server hardware troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous data center operations experience
• Network certifications such as CCENT, CCNA, or Network+
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl
• Experience in project coordination or management
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English
