Data Center IT Technician

Responsibilities

• Solve hardware-related issues with servers using advanced-level troubleshooting
• Report hardware problems and execute workarounds or solutions
• Proactively handle L1/L2 tasks through the ticketing system
• Update processes and documentation for the IT hardware team
• Collaborate with the Technical Project Manager on infrastructure projects
• Participate in technical project implementations
• Oversee 3rd party contractor activities during implementations
• Perform basic network tasks, troubleshooting, and support

Requirements

• Knowledge of datacenters and server equipment
• Advanced knowledge of IT hardware and troubleshooting experience
• Advanced skills with Unix/Linux operating systems and command line
• Experience with equipment monitoring, data analysis, and presentation
• Basic understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools like JIRA or Gantt charts
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Valid driving license

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of network equipment and troubleshooting
• Proven project management experience in the IT Infrastructure domain
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
