Data Center IT Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support IT infrastructure during day and night shifts
• Diagnose and resolve server and network hardware issues
• Perform installation, upgrades, and decommissioning of IT hardware
• Manage fiber optic and patch cable connectivity
• Handle Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain documentation for hardware configuration and maintenance

Requirements

• Solid understanding of server and networking equipment
• Hands-on experience with server hardware and network switches
• Experience with fiber optic cabling
• Proven ability to diagnose hardware-related issues
• Proactive and results-driven attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Category B driving license
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating system
• Familiarity with command-line tools
