Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Inventory & Asset Management technicians to ensure high performance and a positive team culture
• Oversee day-to-day inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure smooth and effective workflows
• Manage inventory cycle audits and ensure regulatory compliance within the data center environment
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for data bearing device (DBD) destruction to ensure data security
• Assess resource allocation and workflow patterns to meet operational timelines and project goals
• Facilitate daily safety briefings and ensure team compliance with safety procedures and PPE usage
• Manage procurement requests and documentation for server, network, and storage requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or logistics
• Experience working within an Information Technology (IT) environment
• Proven experience in inventory management
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to citizenship-based legal restrictions

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT logistics or warehouse management for a large corporation
• Experience operating heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• 1+ years of project management experience
• Professional certification in APICS/ASCM, IAITAM, or equivalent inventory control credentials
