Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT)

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle audits and maintain accurate physical inventory tracking and staging
• Execute incoming and outgoing deliveries and document all inbound/outbound shipments
• Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed hardware via RMA processes
• Maintain up-to-date logical information within inventory management systems and asset repositories
• Perform destruction of data-bearing devices (DBD) in compliance with company policies and SLAs
• Reconcile and report inventory discrepancies to management
• Comply with all security and data management policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma and experience in warehouse, supply chain, or inventory management
• Experience working within an Information Technology (IT) environment
• Valid driver's license (required for travel between sites)
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy-load movement equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or chassis lifts
• Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management for a large corporation
