About the role
Responsibilities
- Define mechanical and cooling infrastructure requirements and reference architectures for AI data center campuses
- Evaluate mechanical architectures for high-density compute, including direct-to-chip liquid cooling and CDU topology
- Lead technical evaluation of equipment vendors, manufacturers, and design consultants
- Drive factory and site acceptance testing, including thermal performance and reliability testing
- Collaborate with hardware and electrical teams to ensure cooling systems support liquid-cooled GPU rack deployments
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data center mechanical engineering or mission-critical facilities
- Deep expertise in chilled water systems, liquid cooling, CDUs, and high-density thermal management
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in mechanical engineering or thermal sciences
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer status
- Direct experience with hyperscale data centers, GPU rack deployments, or immersion cooling
