Data Center Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform office hours duty in data center operations
• Manage capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guidelines
• Execute rack-to-rack cabling using fiber and copper cables following Amazon standards
• Coordinate rack cabling and maintain strict quality control
• Innovate and contribute ideas to improve daily operational efficiency
• Maintain proper media operations and site tidiness in operational areas
• Assist with hardware break-fix and troubleshooting tasks
• Utilize ticketing systems to prioritize and track installations and network issues
• Maintain service level agreements through rapid response to emergency issues

Requirements

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of data center experience
• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies
