Data Center Facility Operator

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive-scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them to accelerate the deployment of frontier AI models.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site SME for data center critical infrastructure, handling escalations across white space and supporting facilities
• Manage design limitations and risks of the site
• Audit colocation partners and service providers on maintenance programs
• Own the change management process for high-risk maintenance activities
• Act as first responder on-site for incidents and drive resolution
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to maintain site reliability

Requirements

• Experience operating or leading critical-facilities operations in a live data center
• Deep knowledge of the critical-infrastructure stack including power and cooling
• Experience running change management for high-risk work
• Ability to act as a calm first responder during incidents
• Experience auditing, documenting, and improving site operating posture

Preferred Qualifications

• Hyperscale or colocation operations experience
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute or NFPA standards
• Experience with critical environments and MOP/EOP
• Vendor and colocation management experience
